Website design

Website design for Nelspruit & Mpumalanga.

Hand-coded, fast on a bad connection, and built to take orders or qualify enquiries — not just look good.

I build sites for businesses around Nelspruit and across Mpumalanga, and remotely anywhere in South Africa. No CMS or plugins for you to keep patched, no template that looks like everyone else's. If you want to see one in use before you talk to me, the wildlife portfolio case study is the real thing, not a mockup.

What you get

Not a template with your name on it.

Built, not assembled

Hand-coded HTML, CSS and JavaScript — no WordPress, no page builder, no plugin that breaks on the next update. It loads fast everywhere, including on a weak rural connection, and there's almost nothing on it that can be hacked.

Findable on Google

Title tags, meta descriptions, structured data, a sitemap and proper Open Graph tags for social shares, done from day one — not bolted on later. See the wildlife case study for what that looked like in practice.

Does a job, not just sits there

If it needs to take an enquiry, qualify a lead, route an order, or connect to something behind the scenes, it will. A brochure site with no path to a transaction is a beautiful hard drive.

Pricing

A basic static site starts from R6,000.

That's a real number, not a teaser — a simple, hand-coded site with the pages you actually need. What moves the price from there:

  • How many pages. A one-page site costs less than a ten-page one — no surprise there, but I'll tell you honestly if you need fewer pages than you think.
  • Whether it needs a form or a shop. A working enquiry form, an order flow, or anything that talks to a backend is the harder half of the job, and it's priced as such.
  • Whether the words and pictures exist yet. Copy and photography take real time. I can shoot the photographs myself, so they don't have to come from a stock library.

You get a fixed scope and a fixed price before any work starts — see how it starts for the three steps that get you there. No surprises in either direction.

Questions people actually ask

Before you get in touch.

Do I need to give you the words and photos myself?

No, but it's cheaper if you do. If you don't have them yet, I can write the copy and shoot the photographs — it's factored into the quote once we know what's needed.

Will it actually work on a slow connection?

Yes — that's not an afterthought here. No CMS, no framework, no heavy plugin bloat. The same standard that keeps Farm Safety usable on weak rural signal applies to every site I build.

What if I need a shop or a booking system later?

Tell me that up front if you can, but it's not fatal if you don't — the site can grow into it. What changes is the price, not whether it's possible.

Do you host it too?

I'll get it live on hosting that costs almost nothing to run and set up the domain, sitemap and search-engine submission properly. You own the hosting account — nothing about your site depends on me staying involved after it ships.

Why you and not an agency?

You deal with the person who writes the code, every time — nothing gets lost being relayed through an account manager. That has limits, and I'll say so if a job needs more than one person.

Get in touch

Tell me what your site needs to do.

A few sentences is plenty — what the job is, who it's for, and anything that's already in place. I read every message myself.
